 Canopy Zip line Tour

One of the most popular tours in Costa Rica, this adventure beholds breathtaking views and gives you the chance to fly through the canopy of the primary rainforest like a bird on an intermediate level Costa Rica zip line tour. Scuba Diving

Scuba diving in Costa Rica is a magical experience. The water clarity is amazing with 30 to 100 feet of visibility. This means you’ll spot all kinds of marine life including: whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, sea turtles, and the occasional humpback whale. The scuba tours offer courses for first time divers as well as dives catered to the experienced. There are tours close by out of Herradura Harbor and Manuel Antonio, but also tours focusing on dives with even better visibility including the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica where you can add manatee sightings to the list of wildlife you will see. The gulfo dulce on the Osa Peninsula and Cano Island just off the coast will give you a chance to see giant manta rays sporting wingspans of up to 20 feet as well as the jumping mobula ray.  A number of different shark species and even the elusive whale shark. You can even go out to Cocos Island if you are a hard core diver. Cocos Island is 300 miles off the coast and some of the best diving in the world. At most of these locations if members of your party don’t want to scuba dive, the snorkeling can also be amazing.

Tortuga Island Cruise

Spend a day sailing on a catamaran to this pristine island where you can snorkel with colorful fish, swim in the turquoise waters, relax on secluded beaches, and explore picturesque caves.  The catamaran is equipped with fresh water deck pools, giant hammocks for sunbathing and the trip includes snacks and drinks.   Morning and afternoon trips are available.

The Crocodile Mangrove Tour

Three eco-systems converge here on the Tarcoles river, drawing a variety of wildlife including thousands of crocodiles - the largest concentration of crocs per square kilometer in all of Central America - the biggest of which measure 15 feet long and weigh up to 1500 pounds! Stand up Paddleboard (SUP) tours

If you have never tried stand up paddling you are in for a treat. Especially when you are experiencing it down here in Costa Rica. It is a great way to connect with nature, be out in the ocean and have a unique elevated perspective that let’s you explore and take in the surrounding scenery. It also let’s you see what’s going on in the water beneath you. You will often see manta rays and sea turtles while cruising along a beautiful stretch of coast. Stand up Paddling is also a great way of exercising because it involves your entire core: There are a variety of different SUP tours to choose from. Some are in a combination with snorkeling, and some are geared to take in the sunset and enjoy a glass of wine at a secluded beach.

Waterfall tours

There are a variety of different waterfalls and waterfall tours to enjoy. Some are accessible by horseback or ATV tours and others have options of hiking in. (A five to thirty minute walk depending on the falls) Each falls is a little different. Some have rope swings, others natural waterslides and jump rocks from eight-40 feet. There are other falls a little farther away with jumping rocks all the way up to 75 feet. The tours have different options that let you visit just one falls or make a day of it and explore five different falls. There also zip line and waterfall combination tours.

Manuel Antonio National Park

Manuel Antonio park provides equal parts exploration, relaxation, and wonder. It has unspoiled rainforests with stunning flora and fauna and an incredible amount of wildlife. There are 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds living in the park. It is common to see dozens of tropical butterflies, birds, monkeys, sloths, snakes, iguanas, orchids and more . Throughout the park there is an extensive system of hiking trails to let you immerse yourself in the forest and see these beings in their natural habitat. These trails lead up to incredible vistas and spill out to a four hidden beaches only open to the park.
On these beaches you’ll discover rock sections with small tide pools that hold dozens of species of sponges, corals, crabs, and over a hundred different types of fish. If you pack a mask or goggles, Snorkeling can also be quite good here during most parts of the year. You can also coordinate to add a scuba diving tour here where you can encounter Sea Turtles, Manta rays, White Tip and Reef Sharks, Octopus, Humpback Whales (certain times of year), Lobsters, and an infinite variety of tropical fish. The scuba tours offer courses for first time divers, as well as dives catered to the experienced. The park opens at 7:00am closes at 4:00pm and is closed on Mondays.

ATV tour

The ATV Tour is an awesome way to explore some of Costa Rica’s most impressive landscapes. While driving an ATV, motorcycle or UTV, the tours lead you through river valleys, canyons, mountain sides, and remote villages. They also can take you to different waterfalls with jumping rocks and hidden beaches where you can swim. Along the way you will witness massive 500 year old trees, stunning flora and fauna, and an assortment of wildlife.

Sport Fishing

Costa Rica is home to some of the best fishing in the world. There are a variety of charters and tours to suit every desire. There are Inshore Fishing, Nearshore Fishing, Offshore Fishing, and Deep Sea fishing options that range from half day to full day. Among the variety of fish typically caught offshore are: Big Blue, Black and Striped Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Yellow Fin and Big Eye Tuna. Inshore you have the roosterfish, snapper, wahoo, Snook, grouper, Corvina Sea Bass, amber Jack, and Pompano.
